We strive to build BiFi（BitcoinFile） as the world's most secure and decentralized virtual digital currency.
To maximize the decentralization of BiFi and support the community more equitably, we have opened the rigorous POC(Proof of Capacity) mining source code on GitHub. Soon, we will support distributed mining pool systems and provide global community members with appropriate deployment plans. By then, global users can spontaneously organize and build their own small mining pools.
The steps for community users to build distributed small mining pools are as follows:
- Download the rigorous POC mining procedure
- Download verification block data
A: It can be downloaded automatically by starting program bitcoinfile-qt.exe. Usually this download verification process takes about 3-5 days.
B: If community members do not require rigorously authenticated block data, they can download block data packets on the Internet for themselves with 3-5 hours.
- Modify the mining configuration file
A: Find the bitcoinfile.conf file, add the following command and save (bitcoinfile-qt.exe is off when saving):
B: Please modify the bold part (including directory, the receiving coin address and the hard disk capacity) according to your own situation. The format is rigorously referred to the above example.
C: Ensure that the modified bitcoinfile.conf is in the following directory
Windows : Open %appdata%\ Bitcoinfile directory to replace
Ubuntu: Open the /root/.bitcoinfile directory to replace
- Start POC mining
A: Add a limited block data directory in the shortcut command line, the command line is as follows:
-datadir= d:\seeds (block data directory downloaded in the second step)
B: Start the program bitcoinfiled.exe and ensure that bitcoinfile-qt.exe is closed
